Hello,
You are a bit vague in your explanations.
To add a caption to a chart in Word.
Select your chart (move your mouse to the left of your page, it will point to the right. Click, the entire area of the chart is selected. Right-click, select Caption, then give the caption you want and choose the different options that interest you.
Be careful not to confuse the caption of a chart with the title of a chart (you can have both)
Styles are something else. They are for making your document consistent in its presentation. Example
Title 1: font Arial 14, bold, underlined, 0.5 before, 0.5 after.
Title 2: font Arial 12, bold, underlined
Normal: font Arial 12, line spacing 1.5
And when your document is finished, thanks to the style, everything defined with style 1 will be in Arial 14, will be in bold and underlined, there will be a space before and after of 0.5.
It's very practical, especially when there are several writers or when a folder consists of several documents. With the same style, it's neater.
