Hello,
I recently bought an external hard drive to store games and play them on my WiiU. It came with a standard USB cable, but according to the forums I've visited, I need a Y USB cable to provide enough power to the external hard drive.
I tried to modify the cable with an old Y USB cable. Unfortunately, I realized that the colored wires of the initial cable provided with the external hard drive do not match my other Y cable.
Where can I find this type of Y cable? Or at the very least, what is the exact name of this type of cable with the colored wires: Red, black, yellow, green, and white?
Thank you for your valuable help!

Hi,
Based on the photos you provided, it looks like a mini-USB cable. And if that's the right type of cable, you can buy one almost anywhere, especially on Amazon, at supermarkets...
