Hello, I noticed that my Marshall Monitor wired headset is not fully functional anymore. The headset has 2 ports (one on the right and one on the left) but it only works on the side where I plug in the cable. Can someone help me? Thank you ;)

Hello, since I had this issue, I opted for a double female to male adapter. It's a bit of a complicated installation, and I have to carry a lot of cables (namely, a jack cable on each side of the headset, and these two are connected to the adapter that then plugs into my phone). However, I've searched high and low and couldn't find any other solutions; it must be a problem inside the headset!

the same problem, and in fact it’s the golden wire inside the headset that goes from left to right that is defective; when I bridge it, it works.

Hi, there is a double jack splitter that would solve your problem and it doesn't cost us much at all!

I'm giving you a link as an example, but you can find one for less than €7.

I’m sorry, but that absolutely doesn’t solve the problem because the goal is not to plug in two jacks...

From my side, I have exactly the same issue. The sound only works from one Marshall earphone. It's not that one side is more defective than the other, as both work depending on where I plug the jack.

- It's not a sound configuration issue on the computer or phone (I checked and tested the balances) and with another Marshall headset, it works perfectly right away;
- It's not a jack issue (I tested with a similar Marshall jack);

What I absolutely don’t understand is why it only works from the side where the jack is plugged in...

I also have exactly the same problem with my Marshall Monitor since the day before yesterday...
The sound only works on the side where the cable is plugged in...
Everything was working perfectly and suddenly this issue occurred...
Does anyone have any idea for a solution???
I also tried with another cable, same problem, and this is happening with several different sources that work perfectly with another headset...

It's the little wire that runs through the headset that's causing the problem; it's defective.

Hello, this probably comes from the headset itself OR this Marshall headset is made for a compatible sound system, but since I am not an audio specialist and for this headset, if the sound comes out where the jack is plugged in, I immediately thought of this adapter to solve the overarching problem of having sound from both sides! Which has been done since the issue is resolved ;)
As I said, I am not a sound expert x)
