Hello everyone, I regularly receive unwanted calls
More often than calls from friends or family on my landline because they call me on my mobile
Despite some family members (older ones) not changing their habits
That's why I'm looking for a phone that wouldn't only block incoming masked or unwanted numbers, but that would block all numbers, and then I could enter the desired numbers, around 20.
It would be easier for me because the incoming numbers often change and are more numerous
A sort of whitelist that I could establish
Unwanted calls are too frequent, so my only solution is to unplug it and listen to messages from time to time, but that's not the right solution!
So I'm looking for a landline or a specific module to interject to avoid being disturbed
Thank you, see you soon

Like you, I was harassed several times a day by different numbers including 000***; external calls, withheld numbers, etc.
Bloctel, let's not even talk about it, I believe it's worse since June when I signed up.
I hesitated between the Clibase v5 and the CPR V202
I received an email from the Clibase manager (not very responsive, I find...) :
In fact, the memory size has increased to 340 numbers since December 12
when version 5 of the device was launched, with the ability to
block directly by prefixes (for example, block all
numbers starting with 01 55 xx xx xx at once)
The product description has not yet been updated by our
webmaster, but when you place your order, it will indeed show as "CLIBASE v5" instead of "CLIBASE v4".
Additionally, this new version has a "whitelist" mode for
the most harassed individuals.
The site still hasn’t been updated since December 12... Do they not want to sell or what??
I eventually took the CPR V202 (€56 on Amazon) which works very well on my NeufBox NB4: https://www.amazon.fr/CPR-Call-Blocker-V202-Affichage/dp/B00JG02ZEY
It has 200 pre-blocked numbers (European numbers)
And especially 1000 programmable numbers in many ways:- manual entry
- pressing the "Block Now" button
- Entry by prefix (e.g. 0177*****)
It also has a display that allows you to see the last 20 calls, the list of all blocked numbers, the number of calls from blocked or unblocked numbers, and especially the ability to erase a number blocked by mistake (which the Clibase cannot do), handy for tests!- remote blocking via the #2 keys
- French documentation available
- Contact in French by email and phone.
I just ordered a second one for my father. However, it works moderately on a Livebox due to the Orange network not accepting CPR programming codes.
It works, but the solution is not simple… it blocks well but the display is very pale when you answer and it's difficult to use the key combinations due to a conflict with the Orange line.
Since I got the device, it's been very peaceful :))
If my experience can help...-
Same issue with telemarketing calls.
After going through the issue, I realized that phone manufacturers mostly don't care about the importance of being able to block unwanted calls. Only a very limited number of models have been developed for this purpose. Similarly, the descriptions on retailers' sites (Fnac, Darty...) very rarely highlight this vital function in the title or the "first" description... So I took matters into my own hands and stumbled upon a little gem from Phillips. The LUCEO (€70) has a highly sought-after design. The features are truly comprehensive (a blacklist of 4 numbers but based on the area code and with the desired length. (08 99 ..... for example). This covers a wide range of possibilities.
Additionally, the ability to mute the ringer for anonymous calls is very useful. In short, from 4 to 6 calls a day, I went to complete silence, and then to just one from time to time (which is, in any case, silent). The blocking only concerns the ringing, which is perfect because it gives me the choice to answer if I wish. I just need to read, if I want to, on the superb elongated screen of the base, the name or number that appears. If the call doesn't ring, I know, however, that it is from a category rejected by my programming.
Hands-free, blacklist, 100 numbers with three possible entries, toggle for blocking anonymity, 30-minute answering machine with adjustable number of rings, large very readable screen on the base, two eco modes, call log with date and time, red event LED, automatic answer or hang-up activation... In summary, since its installation, my life has changed.
Even more relaxed since I have deactivated the phone's answering machine to keep only that of my provider (box). By setting my phone to 8 rings, the persistent unwanted caller eventually ends up on the answering machine... I never get a message. I simply know from the red LED that an unwanted call has "silently" passed by and hung up. I can then check their number later on the call log (if I want to) and then delete everything. Bliss. -
