Hello everyone, I bought a 2009 Twingo 2 and I planned to install a car radio (Sony MEX-N5100BT) + 4 new speakers (Pioneer TS-G1333i) + an amplifier (Auna AB-450) to power these speakers. With a friend who has already set up car audio systems, we ran the various cables for power + remote + ground + 2 RCA cables all connected to the amplifier and we tried to get one of the 4 channels to work but there's no sound at all. We tried with another amplifier, but still no sound. The speakers connected to the car radio work, so I don't think it's a problem with the equipment. Could it be the original wiring of the car that is causing the issue? Thank you for your help as I can't figure out where the problem might be :/

Hello!
Are the speakers replacing the original ones or are they additional speakers?
If it worked before, the original wiring must have nothing to do with it.
Your amplifier should have an LED; is it receiving power?
The speakers should be connected from the amplifier and not from the car radio, is that what you did?
Otherwise, it’s a wiring problem towards the amplifier since evidently the other amplifier wasn't working. Is the ground good, is the car radio connected to the 3 RCA cables?

Hello!
The 3rd cable is ESSENTIAL to connect. It is very small (1 to 2 mm) and connects to the REM of your unit (for Remote).

In his question, he says this if
we have connected the various power cables + REMOTE + ground + 2 RCA all brought to the amplifier,
he also clearly states that the power LED on the amp lights up.
For me, it's the car radio that is poorly tuned and also on the amp, or in the worst case, it’s the RCA outputs that are burnt out.
If you have an amplifier, try disconnecting the remote and you will see that the LED turns off.

Yes, the amplifier light turns on, and when I moved the ground in the place where I connected them, there were small sparks, which proves that the current is indeed arriving.
Yes, when I tested the speaker, it came from the amplifier.
I don't think I messed up the wiring to the amplifier (the + from the amplifier to the battery, remote from the head unit to the amplifier, and the ground to the chassis, is that right?) but I only ran 2 RCA cables from the head unit instead of 3; could that be the issue? And if it’s the ground, how can I check if the ground is good?
which output did you connect the RCA to? If it’s to rear/sub, you need to set the car radio to rear only without the sub like this: rear/rear, and on the amp, it should be set to HPF.
