Hello, I would like to know how to send a text message to a 5-digit number. This is for responses to games in contests where answers need to be sent via SMS to 5-digit numbers (e.g., 71037). So, how should I go about it to make it work from a landline, a computer, or a mobile phone?

I want to publish here the "resolution" of this issue as all my research has shown me that many internet users have faced the same problem.
So here is the response from Orange, so if you want to send SMS to a 5-digit number, you just have to buy a mobile phone and pay for an additional subscription.
All my research had led me to think that only mobile phones allowed this sending, and that's indeed the case.
We have received your email and we thank you for contacting us.
Our service does not allow sending SMS to short service numbers consisting of 5 digits (for example, to participate in TV shows 80222, 80333,...). SMS sending to these numbers must and can only be done from a mobile phone as they have a specific pricing independent of the Orange SMS/MMS Internet service.
The issue is therefore resolved
