Hello,
I need help please.
I created a secret group from my personal page. I would like to add new members to this group but not from my personal page because they are not friends and I don't necessarily want them to have access to my posts. How do I do that?
Thank you in advance.
Configuration: MacBook Air, Google Chrome,
And Mini iPad 4

"rumba75", you're looking at the problem the wrong way; you are on a social network. Facebook members are called [friends].
Then it's up to you to create groups as you see fit (close friends, family, acquaintances, etc...)
- When you post [friends], all the members (friends) of your account can read, comment, and share.
- When you post in a group, your discussions are addressed to the people in that group, but nothing prevents them from sharing with others.
- In a secret group, sharing is not possible; discussions take place and remain among the members of that group.
So if you don’t want your posts for "Close Friends" or others to be visible to other members, you need to make it a private or secret group.

Hello,
I don't quite understand...
Did you create a secret group on a Facebook account set to public or friends?
In that case, the group's friends are visible to no one else but them.
Or is your Facebook account completely secret?

Hello
Can't you send them the group URL so they can request to join themselves? Or you could put the URL on your page...
;)
Life is too short to spend it regretting everything we didn't have the courage to try. (Marie-Claude Bussières)-
Good evening,
Where can I find the URL? And no, I can't put it on my page since they are not friends with me!!!- Well, the URL is the address of the webpage... I don't see why it wouldn't be possible... I'm part of a bunch of secret groups with which I'm not friends with any of the members...
And the info on your page, you can make it public...
Or you can set it to public or closed... You send them the address. They request to join, and once everyone is in, you set it back to secret.
Members of all types of groups (public, closed, and secret) can add anyone who is friends with one of the members.
Note: if you add someone to a group, they may need to wait for approval from a group administrator before they can join.

Hello,
Adel, I believe it’s you who doesn’t quite understand me. Let me recap.
I have a private personal FB page that is open only to my friends. I created a secret group to which I added members. I want to add new members who are not friends with me. And I don’t want to send them friend requests because I want them to be only in this private group.
There you go!! -
Good evening,
Unfortunately not, otherwise one of them could add them!!!-
You need to test by sending them the address of your group via private message, for example, and see if they can see it and thus request membership themselves... If you want, you can send me the link via private message here on CCM and I'll take a look...
If not, set the group to "closed" so that it is visible, and once everyone is in, you can close it again...

Yes, but that doesn't solve the problem, which is that I don’t want to be friends with them if????
As for the address, I don't know how to do it.
