My mouse cursor has changed appearance

Hello,
who can help me? My mouse pointer, which used to be an arrow, has today turned into a hand, and it’s been annoying me since it’s not easy to click with a hand. I just want to get back the arrow for my mouse cursor. Thank you for your help with this problem.
Configuration: Windows XP Internet Explorer 8.0

Go to the control panel, then printers and other devices, then select mouse, and in the new window, go to the pointer section, and select: normal selection, then apply, OK, and that's it, best regards.
