No image but sound with yellow white red rca

Hello,

I purchased a Qlive Q.32161 TV.
When I connect a DVD player using a SCART cable, it works. However, when using a yellow, white, and red RCA cable, I only get sound. I tried another DVD player with the same result. Is it possible that the cable is defective, or could this be an issue with the TV, which is brand new?

The source is automatically detected by the TV. I also tried selecting the source manually, and the result is the same.

Is there anything else I need to do with the TV, or is there an incompatibility between the devices?

    Hello,
    Try this: plug the red cable in place of the yellow, and the yellow in place of the red. If you have the image and only one audio channel, it means your yellow cable is dead.

      I tried it but I made a mistake because I switched the yellow with the white instead of the red, does that change anything? Do I need to start over?

      In the case of this change, it hasn't changed anything.

      RCA cables are all the same, whether for audio or video, that's why I was asking you to switch in case your yellow one is out of order, and red or white doesn't matter since you have sound, which means those red and white cables are working fine.
      There may be a configuration to make regarding the TV's video input, look in the menus and you need to activate "composite"
      Otherwise, you still have the option to use the SCART on your TV, the result is the same.

      The problem is that I have a very small player that can only fit under this TV, and it doesn’t work with the SCART.
      I have a small player and a bigger one.

      Otherwise, yes, I will check if I need to activate the composite output.

      If nothing needs to be activated, then there’s an issue with the TV because it's hard to believe that two players would have the same problem.

It has finished its life because my wife dropped it on the ground. This Radiola was 27 years old and had only one small soldering failure.
      With this old set, there was an additional base that allowed for a VCR underneath and a large DVD player, but with an LED screen it's no longer possible due to its stand.

      I think I have this SCART connector; I'll search through my boxes.

      Is the quality the same with SCART and RCA?
