a message indicates to me that these 2 programs have stopped working; How can I recover them?

      Here is the complete message from Microsoft: "A problem caused the program to stop functioning properly. Windows will close this program and notify you if a solution is available."

      For now, there is no message proposing a solution.

      Use Windows Explorer to try to find them.

    Hello,

    Go to --> C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Office\OFFICE11
    Try the executables --> word and excel

    If the problem persists:
    Go to the control panel
    Programs and Features
    Select --> microsoft office
    Click on --> Repair

        I have recovered everything for a few minutes. It took quite a long time because Windows went through all my files. I followed your advice and found the "repair" icon in the control panel.
