Hello,
I have a small problem, which is a detail but I would like to fix it. For example, for a course (I am a university student), when I want to resume where I left off, the message allowing me to pick up where I stopped does not always appear. How can I fix that?
Thank you in advance.

Hello lolomusic667,
The "Resume where you left off" flag is not, to my knowledge, disableable without modifying the registry.
Do you have this issue in the same document or are they different documents? Are you sure you are saving while leaving your cursor at the spot where you typed (even just pressing space)?
If you press [Shift] [F5], does it work? Or with [Ctrl] [Alt] [Z]?
These actions are supposed to take you back to the last 5 positions of your cursor. If they do not work either, try launching Word in safe mode (by holding down [Ctrl]) then open your document and run a few tests in that mode. If they are okay, we'll see what to do next.

"<i>the message allowing me to pick up where I left off</i>" <br />it doesn't exist ... <br /> <br />-- <br />It's nice, retirement! Especially in the West Indies ... :-)<br />Raymond (INSA, AFPA, CF/R)

- Sorry, C-Claire,
but since I don't have Word 2013 in my software collection, I have to rely on the Internet, where I read at https://www.microsoft.com/fr-fr/microsoft-365/blog/#urRF2OFXvbduYAr8.97
Word 2013 is one of the 7 programs included in Office 365 Home and Office 365 Personal
And at https://fr.wikipedia.org/wiki/Microsoft_Office_365 I read again
Office 365 brings together a set of online services that require an internet connection
I naively (but logically) deduce that Word 2013 is an online software... - Raymond,
In your 2nd link, you just needed to continue reading the sentence that followed: "However, the Office suite included in certain subscription plans can be installed on multiple devices (PC/Mac, Smartphones, Tablets...) and allows offline work just like any regular perpetual suite."
Well, but all this still doesn't solve lolomusic's problem ;-)
