Skype bug: sent and received messages invisible

Hello, as the title suggests, I encountered an issue with Skype about 2 hours ago. I had gone to work, and when I returned to take a break and chat with a friend, I couldn't see the message I sent her.
The previous messages I had sent her and that she had sent me are displayed. Knowing that this issue is not just with her but with all my contacts.
I tried logging in with another computer and experienced the same issue. No matter how far I scroll down in the conversation, I can't see anything. Although the message "your contact is typing" is displayed, I can't see what she sends. Additionally, I do receive notifications of received messages.
However, to make the latest messages of interactions (sending/receiving) appear, I need to hide the conversation and then bring it back normally. But I have to perform this action as many times as there are new messages created.
Recently, I used my friend's Skype on the same computer to check one last time if the issue was with my computer, but everything works perfectly. Therefore, the problem seems to originate from my account.
Thanks in advance ;)

    Good evening,

Try typing in a Skype conversation the following function:
/showplaces, (make sure not to forget the / in front and to write the function all together as I've written it)
This will indicate the number of devices you are connected to on Skype.
It might be these multiple connections on different devices that are disrupting the sending and receiving of messages.

Then, type /remotelogout, which will effect disconnecting Skype from all devices.

Finally, completely close the Skype window on your PC and reconnect, and see if it works again.

If it worked, everything should go back to normal ;).

Hoping this helped you resolve your issue.

    Have a good evening.
