There is the Chromecast for €35, which allows you to stream videos and music to your TV via HDMI. Additionally, you can mirror your desktop, and it also works with a tablet and a phone.

Does your TV have an internet connection?
If yes, just connect it to your network, and there are DLNA programs that will allow you to manage this; I do this with my Android tablets.
