Hello,
I would like to know, please, what it means when, for my Messenger/Facebook contacts, the "phone" and "camera" icons are grayed out in the last Messenger conversation tab (and it indicates "unavailable for a voice/video call" in the Facebook instant chat on PC)...?
Could it be because the phone is "discharged"?

Hello, are your contacts connected at the moment when you see the icons?

I only know that when it’s grayed out, I don't receive a "delivery report" if I send them a text and I go straight to their voicemail if I call... That's why I'm thinking their phone must be turned off / dead... ???

Yes, it must be because their phone is either turned off or not connected to Messenger (in case you're using Messenger to send texts).
In both cases, this explains why the icons are grayed out, basically that you won't be able to reach them instantly.

OK.. It must be off then.. Because I don't use Messenger to send SMS..
