How to resolve the issue related to error code 0x800704c7 making Windows Update inoperable

    Hi,

    The Advanced System Care software is not useful in your case.
    It's a cleaning software, it doesn't solve any Windows issues.
    I recommend uninstalling it, it starts up with your system and will offer you other useless tools (Iobit Driver Update, Malware Fighter, etc.).

    For your Windows Update problem.
    If your Windows 7 has just been reinstalled, you need to follow this procedure by installing the appropriate KBs, disabling automatic updates, and applying the cumulative update => https://www.malekal.com/windows-update-sur-windows-7/

    If the error occurred suddenly.
    Try disabling automatic updates and manually installing the cumulative update.
    See if that works.
