Uninstall Greenshot software

Hello,

I recently installed the Greenshot screenshot software, which I have never been able to use.

I would like to uninstall it. When I follow the standard procedure, at the moment I click "yes" to uninstall, a dialog box opens telling me that the software is actually running and that I need to close it. It seems that it automatically opens when Windows starts. From the software, it is impossible to either open it or access its settings. So I'm going in circles ;-)

Configuration: Windows / Firefox 47.0

Hello,
Exactly, it's highly likely that it opens on startup.
Look in your notification area (the small icons usually at the bottom right), you should see a logo (click on the arrow if you don't see it).
Right-click on it and select "close."
Then you can uninstall it.

Thank you very much, I had the same problem. No way to get it to work, and no way to uninstall it. Now, it's done. Well done.
