Hello, I am not sure if the latest updates available on Mac (Captain) are compatible with my Mac Pro OS X 10.8.5 - 2.26 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo processor - 4 GB 1067 MHz DDR3 memory. I'm hesitant to install it, could you please advise me on this?
Thank you very much, Faustine

Hello,
according to the information provided, it could be an iMac from mid-2009. In that case, yes, it can run El Capitan. However, it needs 8 GB of RAM so it doesn't lag too much. This is also true for OS X 10.8.
