Hello,
I bought a Canon Selphy CP 720 printer. It works well when inserting an SP card directly into it. However, it is impossible to print from the computer via USB connection. The printer is recognized. After starting a print, the paper goes through for printing, but everything stops at that moment!!!! (and even more!!!).
I have downloaded the driver for Vista from the Canon website (not included with the printer). I have tried just about everything that is recommended for this type of problem:
printing without going through the print spooler on my PC
restarting the spooler
Nothing helps! I contacted Canon support, but I haven't received a response yet.
Does anyone have any idea how to solve this problem?
If so, this internet user will earn my deep and sincere gratitude!
Thank you in advance for your help.
Christophe

On my side, I had exactly the same problem under XP: The job was loaded in the spooler but then nothing happened. I solved this problem by reactivating the Terminal Server service.
Hello, here’s how I solved the printing issue with a Canon Selphy CP720.
At home, the paper would move once but the printing would not happen. By temporarily stopping the antivirus software running in the background (for me it was AVAST) and possibly the firewall (in my case this was unnecessary), the printing works normally.

So far, I am satisfied with the printing with this printer; I had a CP 400 before the Selphy CP 740. The fact that it also has a memory card reader makes printing easier if the photos do not require correction, as the printer's correction system is too basic.
Thanks for the tip, I also resolved the issue by enabling the terminal server service.
This problem for me followed the installation of Fujipix viewer. As for saying that the Fuji suite caused everything to crash, that's only a small step away.

Hello everyone,
I'm also encountering a problem with this printer: everything is properly installed, the printer is recognized and is listed among the printers, but when I start a print job, it tells me that the paper size is wrong... even though it is correctly set in the preferences...
If anyone has had this issue before and can help me...
Thanks in advance!!!
