The ordinal not found in the dynamic link library

Hello,

I am running Windows 10. I installed an old game from 2001 (which runs under XP), but it is causing me a lot of problems. Among these:

- No previously installed games work anymore; I get the message "Ordinal 1265 is not found in the dynamic link library C:\Users\nathalie\AppData\Local\Temp\TempFolder.aaa\proj.dll". I tried to fix this using the steps described at https://support.microsoft.com/fr-fr/help/929833/use-the-system-file-checker-tool-to-repair-missing-or-corrupted-system#bookmark-manually%20repair, and it shows me the message "Windows Resource Protection found corrupt files but was unable to fix some of them. Details are provided in the log CBS.Log %WinDir%\Logs\CBS\CBS.log."
I followed the procedure and opened the Sfcdetails.txt file, but I don't know what to do next...

- The second issue: I tried to uninstall the game in question, but it does not appear in the list of programs when I try to do so through Windows. So I went directly to the "source" folder, then to the Desinst.exe file, but it shows me "this application cannot run on your PC. To find a version for your PC, check with the software publisher." I then right-clicked > Properties > Compatibility > Run this program in compatibility mode for Windows XP (Service Pack 2), but nothing works...

Do you have any solutions?
Thanks in advance to those who can shed some light on my situation!!

Configuration: Windows / Chrome 51.0.2704.103

Hi,

Have you tried reinstalling your game directly without uninstalling it first?

You never know.

Good evening!

The problem is that I want to get rid of this game once and for all, and not just uninstall it to reinstall it...
