Very strange masked call

Hello, this afternoon I received a very strange call from an unknown number that started with some crackling followed by a man's voice, probably older, telling me a date in English and then hanging up suddenly. Has this ever happened to you?

    No, I've never had that happen... (it's true that for unknown/blocked numbers I don't answer.... the answering machine is there to catch messages from those who really have something to say to me)

    It might be a mistake or a (stupid) joke ... it seems that some apps allow you to distort your voice...

    Couldn’t it be a fax?... I've had cases like that at work of people who dial the wrong number and send a fax to a phone...

      Hmm... possible though the fact of a voice?

      On a site where I worked, this happened, but it was a particular tone (no words....) and if we had the time, it was enough to redirect the call to the fax number so that it would come out....
