Hello everyone,
We bought an apartment that has an intercom, a Terraneo 600ws, which had an issue (we can hear people but they can't hear us). A technician came over after the call to the property manager, and according to him, the problem was due to a dead microphone, so the whole unit needed to be replaced. I was lucky enough to find the same microphone and replaced it (which saved a lot compared to the 160 euros the company charged to change everything). Everything was working well, and about ten days later, some of my neighbors (not all) had intercom issues. According to the technician, it’s our unit that is short-circuiting the others. (What’s strange is that he solved my neighbors' issues before diagnosing ours....) What do you think? If there is a short circuit, it should be immediate and all the intercoms should be out of order????
What can we do? What model could replace ours???
Thank you for your response.

Hello...

In my opinion, the guy is trying to take people for fools....
I guess you just soldered the mic where the broken one was, there are only 2 wires?!
Unless you put solder everywhere....
You did that in the housing, not on the street?
But wait for other opinions!
Best regards,
