I've had it since version 6 and it has been more than beneficial for me. I was playing Call of Duty Black Ops, Prototype 2, Planetside 2 (the one from 3 years ago), with a Pentium M 4th gen + Radeon HD7400 + 6GB RAM, 20-40 fps, before optimization around 10 fps + 2 seconds between click and shot (I didn't know that was possible until I saw that).

Today, version 10 is getting better and better, great optimization, no more software hang-ups on startup, its Windows repair system, homepage protection (especially!), today face ID, but well, I don't need that, and the little logs more or less useful.
The only problem encountered with version 10 is the ad blocker that reloads the page when you select an image on Google. But well, we can disable it. And its additional protection I'm not sure is very useful.

On a computer running Windows 10, it allowed me to block a process that was hogging the CPU and that Windows didn't want to show me... (proc: asc: 30% win: 0%)

In its previous versions, it might have been a disaster in some respects, but luckily I found this software (in pro of course; and you need to know what you're doing on it not to mess anything up).

Afterwards, it's also a question of perspective, of tests done with it, of problems encountered.

Last things to know about these optimization software (Advanced Care, Tune-Up,...) what they will do is fix registry problems (which you can do with CCleaner), and especially disable as many Windows services as possible in the background or elsewhere that take up RAM (mainly), CPU, and disk space. So if you like Windows animations, Windows backups, and other little features, don't install these programs or be very careful when you use them. Similarly, if you have a computer worth over €1500, it won’t change much; at this level it's better to stick with CCleaner (on 16GB of RAM freeing up 200MB doesn't change anything, on 4-6GB it does).

If your PC is lagging, it's better to do clean-ups with little logs like CCleaner or AdwCleaner, and defragments, OR even better, reinstall Windows!

I know it's reviving an old topic... Anyway: NO and NO and NO, I know about computers... And if we look at the clean-ups in... the registry for example, I have REAL ERRORS... That are in HKEY local machine (as proof that it analyzes the registry) and gives me REAL MALWARE, like bubble doc, search manager... And if I compare it with ADWcleaner (software recognized by this site and its community) and I delete with ASC... BAM they have disappeared...

Your technician clearly does not know what he's doing, and first of all, by uninstalling it: he will make more money because you are so comfortable with computers that you can uninstall a simple malware like Bonjour.
Secondly: There are a lot of "fake" software that are just scams... While your technician, not taking the effort to do REAL research like I do, cannot guess...

CL: NO AND NO, he is not doing ANYTHING BAD, except that he removes the blue rectangle animation for selecting with the mouse, knowing that by USING my brain I MANAGED TO PUT IT BACK (and with the software too, without going through my Windows settings)

However, I have read numerous reviews about this software that say it is even better than TuneUp.
Knowing that my PC is still slow after a defragmentation and that I cannot perform a system check with sfc/scannow because Windows asks me to insert the XP PRO CD while I have XP Home, I don't see how to solve the system problems.

Which software would you recommend to solve the system problems?

Used to version 3 pro, I tested version 4 that was offered to me with my subscription.
After a complete cleanup upon restart, there are no recently opened programs in the start menu, Outlook 6 is asking for a password, and the system is slow. It seems that this new software acts too much on the registry.
In the end, I reinstalled everything with Paragon Drive Backup 9 and was happy to find version 3 which satisfied me.
