Hello everyone,
I am a customer of Proximus, I work with a Bbox 2. I have installed SoftPerfect Wifi Guard on my PC which is notifying me that a Cisco SPVTG modem (192.168.1.64) is logged in. I don't know what it is. Could it be my Bbox? It is listed separately (192.168.1.1). I would like to know because a few years ago, I had "Michel PC" and "Hooligan PC", unscrupulous neighbors who logged onto my network. I would like to block this router but I am afraid of locking myself out.
If anyone has an idea?
Thank you very much
Christine

Hi,
Cisco SPVTG ....
that's probably a TV box.
do you have that connected to your router?

and ... Here you go! -
Hello,
In a web browser type "192.168.1.1"
From there you can configure your network and especially set a password for your wifi.
Have a nice day.-
Hello Elie,
I already have a password, of course. The first one was apparently easy to crack, that's how Michel and Hooligan were able to join us. The current one is much more complicated. But it's clear that if I change my password and this router still appears, it's definitely a device from the house. Thank you and have a good day. -

Hello,
Have you made any changes to the PC or the Box?-
No, I just opened the page to change the bbox password. My smartphone and tablet can connect with the new password but not my PC. I reverted to the old password and my PC connects, no more error message. I can keep the old password since "the intruder" is identified, it’s the decoder linked to the bbox. A big thank you to everyone for your help.
Have a nice end of the day
Christine
