Hello,
/ Windows 10.
after saving a Word file containing an Excel table as ".odt", I can't modify the cells of the table, --> "read-only mode"
this is not the first time.
nothing is checked in the properties (security)
is there any possibility?

thank you.

Don't you have a #lock file or a .lock file or ~filename.odt in the same folder as your file? They are usually hidden files and block editing of the file.

Like LibreOffice, Apache OpenOffice is a fork of OpenOffice 1.0.

Good evening, and thank you for this response
In fact, I noticed that the .doc files with this spreadsheet inclusion are read-only as soon as I click in the table, even before saving them as .odt
And I wonder if it’s because I don’t have Office on this PC and that all the files transferred from the previous PC are opened by Open Office.
Am I right?

Yes, you cannot open the same file twice for writing; the first one will necessarily have write permissions and the other read-only. But sometimes the software does not release the lock by closing and leaves a file that blocks writing. That's why I suggested what I mentioned above, as I thought it was your case.
