Hello,
Excuse me, I couldn't find the Camera or video surveillance section on the forum.

I would like to know the order and method for connecting multiple IP cameras using the same RJ45 cable, so that one RJ45 cable reaches the recording box (I don't know the name of the device, but the RJ45 cable is connected to it, as well as a mouse and a 32" plasma screen) and allows viewing all cameras on the screen, similar to connecting light bulbs in series in an electrical installation.

Thank you in advance

Configuration: Windows 7 / Chrome 49.0.2623.87

Liaison of multiple IP cameras with a single RJ45 cable.

I would like to know how to connect multiple IP cameras using the same RJ45 cable (in series) so that a single RJ45 cable reaches the recorder (I suppose that's the name of the equipment, the RJ45 cable is connected to it, as well as a mouse and a LG 32" screen) and allows viewing all the cameras on the screen, similar to connecting light bulbs in series in an electrical installation.

    Thank you in advance.

I eventually understood that this is not done. To achieve this, it is necessary to connect switches in such a way that a single cable reaches the network video recorder, which also has an IP address in the same class as the cameras.
    Thank you.
