Lenovo battery "not certified" not charging anymore

Hello,

I bought a new battery for my Lenovo laptop online. It worked great for a week, then I got a message on the screen saying "battery not authorized by Lenovo", and since then the battery has been in "plugged in, not charging" mode. I don't know what to do...

    Hi,

    Buy the original one as recommended by the manufacturer.

    Chinese copies are not good even if they are cheaper.

        Not much because apparently there is a security feature on your PC that prevents the use of an unapproved battery.

      Oh that's stupid... No one was able to bypass that? It's really strange, because it worked really well for a week, several charges/discharges, and suddenly it's not working anymore... :(
