Hello,

I am gradually building a decent tower so that I no longer have issues running what I want on my PC.
In the description of my processor, it says it can reach 3.7GHz in turbo mode, but how do I access this turbo mode?
I would like to access it for now, with the eventual goal of changing my processor.
Thank you for your responses.

Windows 10
i5-4590 3.3GHz
Motherboard: ASUS Z97P
KFA2 GeForce 970
12 GB RAM

Intel processors like yours have Turbo Boost. This allows them to overclock without the user's intervention. It will do so when needed. Don't touch anything, your processor is not meant to be manually overclocked.

Yet when I check in the task manager/performance, the maximum speed line shows 3.3GHz.

Yes, but if one day you push your PC to the max and it goes up to 3.3 GHz, it will be able to reach 3.7 GHz. This just means it doesn’t need it for now.
