Hello,
Noticing a very low speed on my Bbox, I checked the wiring of my phone sockets. I first removed all the wires from the unused sockets (yellow/orange cables), then I opened the socket I'm using for the Bbox.
I noticed strange wiring (see photo) with a blue and white wire on port 1 and a gray and copper wire on port 3. I then removed everything and put the gray wire on 1 and the white wire on 3 as seen on the Internet.
Problem: the speed is even slower today.
Did I do the right thing? How can I optimize this socket to restore normal and stable speed?

Hi,
yes, I think you did well,
have you tried restarting your box since your modification?
can you read the sync values in the box interface?
how much slower is it than before?

and... there you go!-
Brupala,
When I say slow, I mean very slow. I went from 2 megabytes (which was already very weak for Paris...) to less than 500 kbits.
So I must have done something wrong...
Is it possible that the colors of my installation do not match the standards?- The colors correspond to the standards, or at least to the habits.
To be truly certain, one would need to follow the cables and check where they lead.
Also, as mentioned earlier, look at the connection values in the box and compare them with the theoretical values on Ariase or Degrouptest.
However,
it seems that the scotchlocks at the bottom are swapping the yellow/orange pair for white/gray; what you think is white/gray is actually the yellow/orange from the cable.
It is really essential to identify the start of the line before this socket and test it there.
