I'm contacting you because I've had a problem for a week now, as stated in the title, I am facing the legendary "limited connection"...

Now I'll tell my story,
So, wanting to play a big game, I found myself having to update my graphics card and processor drivers. Everything went well on that side... The drama occurred after the installation of these, I ended up with a full connection without issues but I had no Internet (so no limited connection (at least not marked)), after some tinkering I got rid of that... In favor of a limited connection...
I have already tried two or three things mentioned on sites like this one (like reset, fixed IP address, restarting the machine or reinstalling my network card)
Nothing worked, you are my last chance, HELP MEEEEE! :'(

try this:

right-click on the Start button or press Windows key + X
Command Prompt (admin)
copy/paste this command:

netsh int tcp set heuristics disabled

then press enter
then copy/paste this command:

netsh int tcp set global autotuninglevel=disabled

then press enter
then copy/paste this command:

netsh int tcp set global rss=enabled

then press enter
then copy/paste this command:

netsh int tcp show global

then press enter
restart your computer.

Modify the adapter settings in the Menu on the left and deactivate all network connections except for the Wi-Fi adapter of course, and Bluetooth or Ethernet if you are using an RJ45 cable.

Press the Windows + x + a keys to open the command prompt. You can also do this manually, but remember that the command prompt must be run as an administrator.

Copy and paste the following command in the command prompt window

netsh int ip reset C:\resetlog.exe

(then press enter)

3. Restart your computer to see if this works and resolves your issue.

power management
uncheck the box allow the computer to turn off this device to save power.

Hello,

Device Manager --> Network Adapter --> choose the name of your network card --> and when you are in the properties, go to the "Power Management" tab and then uncheck the option to allow this device to be turned off to save power.

Do this as well to see
right-click on the Start button or press the Windows+X keyboard shortcut
Command Prompt (admin)
copy/paste this command:

netsh int ip reset c:\resetlog.txt

Then press the Enter key, wait a few seconds, and then:

Type the command:

NETSH WINSOCK RESET

Then press the Enter key
restart

check that you have a connection to the home network and not to the public network.

also verify that your antivirus is not blocking the firewall.

close the window or type exit
try with or without restarting
also restart the box.
