Hello, dear friends! I'm asking for help because I can't install Encarta on my PC, Windows 8.1 Professional.
Every time I'm asked to download NET Framework 3.5; When I start the download, I'm redirected to Windows Update, but I've never been successful.
Please help me, I'm a teacher in Africa and with the lack of documents, Encarta is very useful to us. Thank you in advance!

Hello,
Try installing it by right-clicking on the installation file and selecting "Run as administrator"
You can also try compatibility mode with a previous version of Windows (in the properties menu of the right-click, if I remember correctly).
If you tried to install Encarta on a previous version of Windows (XP, Vista) and it works, then it's because this software, discontinued for more than a year, is incompatible with the latest versions of Windows.
