Connecting TNT decoder/TV/DVD recorder

The SCART cable may work for VHS tapes, but not for DVDs.

I connected the decoder (Philips DTR3000) via SCART or via HDMI + antenna cable to the DVD recorder, but the HD channels were not detected.

But why do you want to unplug it? PVR terminals are also players.

If you take a 500Gb hard drive, you'll be able to store a lot of movies on it, plus some PVRs do not accept USB drives for recording (especially those from TVs).
