Disable OneNote at startup Solved

Question

Hello,

It’s all in the title... I accidentally sent an image to OneNote once, and now it launches every time at startup.

Is it possible to prevent it from opening at startup in Windows 8.1? If not, can I remove the OneNote icon from the startup display?

- Open OneNote - Click on the top right on your OneDrive login credentials - Account settings - Options - Display - Uncheck "Place the OneNote icon in the notification area of the taskbar"

Yes, I tried to disable it from MSConfig and the Task Scheduler as well.  I wonder if it launches automatically like OneDrive under 8.1.

OneDrive can be disabled from these settings!

But I don't use OneNote!

One Note is part of MS Office, it seems to me.

I disabled the icon and notifications so that I no longer see the icon at startup - taskbar - white triangle - customize.

Thank you for your help.

Was the strong way to uninstall MS Office?

No, the strong approach was just to remove his startup process with the registry key that was launching it, but if the problem is solved, that's just as well :-)
