Hello! I would like to put a game that I have on my USB drive into my Xbox One. The problem is that as soon as I open my USB (it opens with media player), it shows my folders and when I open a folder, there's nothing in it. I would like you to explain how to find my game on my USB drive from the beginning (as if I had just turned on the console)

Sincerely, lepro34

Good evening,

If it's like with the Xbox 360, the USB key needs to be formatted on the Xbox One to allocate a partition solely reserved for the Xbox One; without doing this, it won't work.

The solution would be to format another USB key on the Xbox One, create a partition large enough to hold the game, and then transfer the game from the first key to the Xbox One partition created on the second key. That's the only solution I see to avoid losing the game.

This is conditional because I've never bothered downloading games; I buy them directly on DVD, which creates much less hassle.

Best regards and have a good evening.

Hi
No, the drive must be formatted from the Xbox One (well, that's the case with the Xbox 360 which uses the FATX file system)

Also, I don’t understand how you could download a Xbox One game (digital) because I know it's entirely possible to buy a key on a site that you then enter on the Xbox Live marketplace from your console, the download being done via the console.

So, where did you buy this game, in what format is it, iso (this is just an example!!!)

I should clarify that I don't have an Xbox One, things may have changed since...
