Hello, I have a rather annoying issue with Adobe Premiere Pro CC 2015:
When I render with the Mercury Playback Engine (CUDA) GPU acceleration, the software seems to be using my CPU instead of the GPU (the CPU is used at 100% during encoding while the GPU is not being utilized). So I assume the rendering is necessarily longer given my setup.
Is there a solution, please? Thank you.
Configuration: Manufacturer: Me
Model: 1.7
Motherboard: Asus Z87-A
CPU: Intel core i7 4690 (4.0 GHz)
GPU: KFA2 GeForce GTX 970 EXOC Black Edition, 4 GB
RAM: 16 GB DDR3 1600MHz
SSD: Crucial 512Go
HDD1: Seagate Barracuda, 1 TB
HDD2: Western Digital 300 Go
HDD3: Samsung 256 Go
Case: Zalman Z9 U3
Headset-microphone: Plantronics RIG
Keyboard: I don't know which model from Emachines
Mouse: Roccat Kone STD Optical
Screen 1: Acer G246HLBBID (1920x1080@60Hz 24")
Screen 2: Packard Bell Viseo 191DXL (1366x768@60Hz 18.5")
OS: Windows 7 Home Premium SP1 64-bit (on the SSD)

Hello,
Please note that the CUDA system in Premiere Pro only works with certain graphics cards. If in Project > Project Settings > General > Renderer: Software Mercury Playback Engine is grayed out (the dropdown menu does not open), it means that the graphics card's CUDA is not supported. If CUDA is supported, select Mercury from the dropdown menu .....
See Adobe Premiere Pro Help / System Requirements for the list of supported GPUs.
