Replace the Freeplugs 200 with 500 Mbps Powerline adapters

Hello,

I should point out that I have no transmission problem between my Freebox v6 Server and TV box via the Freeplugs. What I’m trying to do is increase the transfer speed between the server (on which two PCs are connected by wired) and a Devolo 500 powerline adapter downstairs, to which two other wired PCs are connected. I bought two additional Devolo 500 adapters that I could use instead of the Freeplugs to speed things up. Should I:
- replace the two Freeplugs 200 with the two new Devolos and thus upgrade the network from 200 to 500 with 3 PLCs,
or
- keep the existing network with the 2 Freeplugs (TV) and create a second PLC network by plugging a Devolo 500 into the Freebox Server switch, to which the Devolo 500 downstairs would be synchronized?

Thanks in advance for your help.

R.

    Hi,
you could have stayed in the same discussion :-(
    also,
I’m advising you again to connect a single PLC to the modem replacing the freeplug and a 500 PLC as well if you insist.
    You pair the 3 together.
only one PLC network on your installation, although as mentioned later, we know nothing about the PLC activity of the non-Ethernet-connected freeplugs.

and ... Voila Voilou Voila !

Thank you for that answer and sorry for starting a new thread. I thought it was mandatory since I declared the first discussion as "resolved."

we can mark it as unsolved, it's not a problem.
