Hello,
Sony HT-XT3; I'm considering purchasing this soundbar, I have a Sony Bravia KDL-40W4000, but I don’t understand the connection (HDMI 2.2/ ARC?), especially since I also need to connect a Canal + Cube decoder, what is your recommended connection setup?
Thank you very much

Configuration: Windows 7
FIREFOX

    Good evening,

In your case, you don’t have to worry about an HDMI ARC connection since your TV doesn’t have an HDMI ARC input.

    Here are the recommended connections:

    1) CUBE HDMI OUT <- HDMI CABLE -> HDMI 1 TV.

    2) TV OPTICAL OUT <- OPTICAL CABLE (Provided with the sound base) -> SONY SOUND BASE OPTICAL IN.

There you go, it’s that simple.

Best regards and have a good evening ;-)

Thank you very much, I also tried the connection below, without being sure of its "relevance", and I lose 50% of the sound as soon as I switch to Canal+ decoder; conversely, if I switch back from Canal to TV, the sound "explodes". Thank you for your help
Canal+ decoder to Sony TV = HDMI
Canal+ decoder to LG Recorder = Scart + antenna cable
LG Recorder to TV = HDMI
Soundbar to TV = Optical cable (I do not use the HDMI ports)

Hello, I finally received my Sony XT3 tray, and I connected it as specified in the diagram (I’m not using any of the HDMI connections on the tray), but I find that the power isn’t as effective as that, is it related to the quality of the HDMI or optical cable? I set the TV volume to 0 and I have to use the cube remote to adjust the volume, okay,
      Thanks for your input.
