HC/TV connection and CANAL PLUS square box

Question

Hello,  I have the HC Philips HTS3251, Sony BRAVIA 32S2510 TV, and the square Canal Plus box. I connected an HDMI cable from the TV to the HC and an HDMI cable from Canal Plus to the TV. The home cinema works with the TV, but as soon as we want to watch Canal Plus channels, an error message appears saying "connect the antenna." I searched for channels via email but it doesn't detect any.  Can anyone help me?

Good evening, For more convenience, here is a personalized diagram to follow: With this type of connection, the sound from the channels of the cube will go directly through the Philips home theater. Additionally, I would like to emphasize what jjpot wrote, there is no need to search for channels on the TV as it is the CUBE that transmits the channels to the TV. As indicated in my diagram, the CUBE is connected via HDMI 1 to the TV, you just have to select the source on the TV, that is to say: HDMI 1. For playing Blu-Ray and DVD discs, you will need to select the source HDMI 2 on the TV. For sound, I opted for an OPTICAL connection because the quality is much better. Otherwise, there is another connection option: This involves using the RCA outputs (red and white) from the TV and the RCA inputs (red and white) of the home theater. By making this type of connection, the sound from all the devices connected to the TV will be transmitted to the home theater, but it will be an ANALOG transmission, of lower quality than the OPTICAL (DIGITAL) but still pleasant to listen to ;-) WARNING, do not confuse outputs and inputs, the RCA AUDIO OUTPUTS of the TV are represented by the symbol showing a small circle with a small arrow indicating the direction outwards: To summarize: TV RCA OUTPUT -> RCA CABLE <- HOME RCA INPUT If you have any questions, feel free to ask ;-) Best regards and have a good evening ;-) -- --> NO PROBLEMS, ONLY...SOLUTIONS <-- Alcohol solves nothing, having said that, neither does water or milk ;-)
