Hello,
I have a Samsung Galaxy Trend 2 Lite and when I send emojis to my contacts, question marks show up in their messaging.
A notification appears on my screen before sending:
"Change input mode
In your current input mode, special characters, such as emoticons and letters with diacritical marks, may not display correctly on the recipient's device.
To resolve this issue, go to settings > SMS > Input mode, then set the input mode to automatic."
How can I fix this problem? I looked at another similar topic: https://forums.commentcamarche.net/forum/affich-32237821-probleme-emoticones
but I can't find my answer; is it mandatory to download the GoSms app for it to work properly?
When I follow the instructions on my Samsung, I go to settings but I don't see the SMS menu...
The Android emojis Android send without problems (those found in "insert emoji" but others do not work.
Thank you for your response and have a nice day.

Re,
"Others" -> what are the "others"?
Common smileys (understood to be those recognized by the native Android keyboard and therefore by the "SMS" application) pass without issue as long as the phone on the other end supports them without a problem.
For the SMS settings, I will need a bit more information...
Normally, the SMS/MMS settings can be found in the application through a button with 3 squares in a corner, which allows you to open the application's menu, or by pressing the phone's tactile "menu" button, which will give you a menu and allow you to access "Settings" from there ;-)

- What is your Android version?
- Are you indeed using the default "SMS" app?
