Hello to you,

Following an article that was published, I bought the Zalman ZM-VE350 case: https://www.ldlc.com/fiche/PB00194041.html
Nothing works, it's pure fraud. Some Windows ISOs do not copy even when I boot with the F8 key; either the device is not detected or it doesn't boot anything. This case is a complete scam unless someone sends me a complete tutorial since the manual is almost useless... I have put Windows 10 ISOs downloaded from the Microsoft site that work, but not on the case: I bought a Zalman ZM-VE350 case https://www.ldlc.com/fiche/PB00194041.html
to put OS and utility ISOs that can boot at PC startup. From what I understood, all I had to do was put the ISOs and select it at boot time, but my case keeps telling me "no ISO files" even though they're on the hard drive (I've checked, they work). There is a semblance of a manual, but it's very simplistic and in English... I've searched and tried using the knob on the side and installed the appropriate firmwares, but I can't find out how to proceed. If someone could help me please? For now, it remains stuck in standby mode; no matter how I turn the small knob on the side, nothing happens. I even tried to transfer as best I could using the software downloaded from the site, which, once installed, gives a Zalman Button Manager icon
It takes a few ISOs but not all of them...

Hello
I see that the topic is a year old. Still, if it can help:
I bought the ZM-VE350 + a 1TB WD HDD and encountered the same issue: _ISO => no iso file.
I looked into it a bit: Firmware Update => Same result
I followed the instructions from a tutorial, updated the firmware, selected the mode (Dual or HDD Mode), reformatted, updated the firmware again, unplugged, replugged,.... Nothing! Still "No iso files".
And simply deleting the volume, then recreating the partition as MBR this time instead of GPT: MAGIC!!!
Now it sees my ISOs!!
I read the "QUICK GUIDE" several times, and nothing is mentioned about the type of partition, nor on the ZALMAN site.
Solved.

I also struggled and even thought I had messed up my multiple flashes to the point where I couldn't format the disk anymore. Break the partition to recreate it, then create a folder "_ISO" in uppercase and not lowercase as I had seen and done so far. Formatted in NTFS and it works. FAT32 should also work but there is the limitation of 4GB per file for large ISOs like the Windows installation in combined 32 and 64 bits. I haven't tested exFAT but maybe that could work.
Thank you.

Good evening everyone, so the solution is as follows

1 plug in your ZALMAN Ve350

2 format the partition of your hard drive

3 update your ZALMAN Ve350 to the latest version

4 create a folder named _iso with the word "trait" and "iso" in lowercase

5 now place the iso in this folder

and normally the iso will be detected by your ZALMAN

If this is not the case, please give me feedback and post a comment.
