RAM: Corsair VS Crucial, which one to choose? Solved

Hello everyone. I'm having a hard time deciding on my RAM choice; I need DDR3 1600 MHz for a total of 16 GB of RAM. So I found 2 models, but I don’t know which one to choose. -Crucial CL8 DDR3 16 GB (4 x 4 GB) PC3-12800 1600 MHz Low Profile -16GB(2x8) CL9 DDR3-1600MHz, Corsair Vengeance Pro Thank you for responding quickly. Hi,  In terms of brands, they are on par with each other. If we want to differentiate them without considering the price, the Crucial have a lower latency (CL8 compared to CL9 for the Corsair), so they are a bit faster... But in any case, in practical use, you won’t notice any difference between the two...  What do you use your PC for?  See you later =)  -- LordMacDragus

Hello  Two things: the Corsair Vengeance are quite tall. Make sure they fit, the CPU cooler or the graphics card may get in the way.  For the Crucial, make sure you have 4 slots on the motherboard (it may seem like a silly comment, but check..)  There are 3 types of people: those who can count and those who cannot.

Hello,  I have Corsair Red Pro 2 x 4 GB at 17000 PC3 2300.  They run really well, with built-in heatsink (in aluminum), Pro version, overclocking possible from my motherboard's BIOS! You're asking for opinions on RAM sticks, I have red Corsair Pros with heatsinks!  You just need to check the details of your motherboard! Mine is red and black (aesthetic point of view, I chose red ones!)   In terms of speed, they are equivalent!
