I would like to know how to type the hashtag symbol using the number 3 key.

    You press the "Alt Gr" key just to the right of the "space" key at the same time as the "3" key

    It's not "hashtag", it's "pound"!

    You hold down the "Alt gr" key to the right of the space bar and then press the "3" key...
