Ford c max car radio on discount, no code needed

Hello, I had a tow bar fitted, they disconnected the battery, and since then there's no radio. I've tried 3 codes but now it displays wait! and counts down from 30 minutes (now at 25 minutes) after I turned off the radio with the power button. I've tried to remove the fuse from the box under the glove compartment but I can't get it out without special pliers. Besides going to Ford and paying 150 euros... what should I do?

Configuration: Windows / Chrome 42.0.2311.135

Hi

if Ford charges you €150, go to Norauto or Feu Vert, they should do it for free normally, however for the code only Ford or the brand of the car radio can provide it.

The countdown is because you entered the wrong code, and the more wrong codes you enter, the longer the countdown increases like this: 30 mins, 1 hour, 12 hours, 24 hours; it's to discourage thieves from stealing them.

Thank you very much! My unit is a series V016091 and apparently there's no solution to reset the device (buttons 6 and 1...) so I will go to Ford by default. A solution to remove the unit from its housing... simply with 2 Laguiole knives, blade facing inward (towards the power button), do one side then the other) 30 seconds max. Good! My question is, if I let the unit count down to 0, what happens? Is it permanently locked? Like 10 or like 13... apparently possibility in like 10, but in like 13 it's dead. Should I play the lottery? Actually, for my unit, I had a trailer hitch installed by a technician and they tried to get it working again... it's not a big deal! I have to sing… it's for the neighbors…

No, the countdown is just a countdown timer and when it reaches 0, you can enter the code again; it’s a waiting period to re-enter the code.
