Hello,

I have been facing a problem for about 2 weeks:
My MacBook Pro (mid-2012) restarts by itself several times a day and sometimes in a row. When I reopen the Mac, the message that appears is: "Your computer has restarted due to a problem." From my research, this message appears when there is a kernel issue that could be caused by recently installed software, a device connected to the computer, or a Mac with an outdated OS. However, I do not fall into any of these cases...
Can anyone help me?
Thank you

Configuration: Mac OS X (10.10.5) / Safari 8.0.8

Hello,

Restart on the recovery partition (Recovery HD) by holding down the cmd and R keys until you arrive at the utilities window, launch "Disk Utility," select your hard drive (HD), and perform a disk repair and, simultaneously, a permissions repair.
Maintenance/Repair tips

Best regards

Hello,
Thank you for the feedback. Indeed, by booting from the other hard drive and repairing the permissions, there are no more problems for now.
Thank you.

Hello, I have the same problem. But I can't click on "Repair Disk Permissions". Do you know why?
Thank you in advance.
