Hello,
I am working on Word 2010 for Mac. Recently, I wanted to create an index, and the software displayed all the paragraph marks (the kind of reversed P, the dots to indicate spaces between each word, etc.). However, I hate working in this environment, and I can't find that famous reversed P symbol to remove these marks.
I am attaching a screenshot of my toolbar so you can see.
Thank you in advance!

In your screenshot, you can clearly see the button just above the T in Tables. If you click on it, it will hide the invisible characters (until the next click, of course).
Now, if you mean that it still shows even when you click the button in question, then you'll need to check the Word preferences, under the "Display" tab, and uncheck the "non-printing characters" that are selected...

That's right! Thank you! And on Pages for Mac, it's "view" then "hide invisible characters" :)
