MPEG-4 adapter
Solved
Hello, as of April 2016 all TNT channels will be in HD with MPEG-4, so I’d like to know something. I have a FREESAT TSF8600HDU receiver for the satellite dish and I record with it, and I’d like to know if I’ll be able to keep it. I also have another TNT Premio ST3 CGV adapter for the terrestrial antenna (yagi) and I record with it, and I was told that the TNT Premio ST3 CGV adapter for the terrestrial antenna will need to be changed since it is in MPEG-2 and there will exist a MPEG-4 TNT adapter for the terrestrial antenna. Thanks.

Hello
It’s been two years now since selling MPEG-2 adapters has been banned, so the conclusion is .................... Everything that’s for sale is MPEG-4 -
Do not mix Terrestrial Digital TV (DVB-T standard, and soon T2) in MPEG-2 and MPEG-4 with satellite TV in DVB-S2 MPEG-2 and MPEG-4... e.g. Fransat or TNTsat..
There exists an index "satellite" where these topics about terminal choices or demo satellite have been viewed -
Hello,
I recommend buying the CGV Etimo 1T; it is currently the best USB-based DVR on the market, as you can read on this forum http://www.tvnt.net/forum/cgv-etimo-1t-1-enregistreur-tnt-hd-t31585.html
It is compatible with the new standard that will be implemented in April 2016.
Have a great weekend.-

This device has been on the shelf for more than two years already and, as stated at the beginning of the responses:
