Good evening,

When I go to Start + Run + ipconfig (or ipconfig /all), the window opens and then closes instantly before I have a chance to read the content of the window or do anything, even though it worked a while ago...

Can someone please help me?

Thanks in advance
Configuration: Windows XP Firefox 2.0.0.4

    In Run, first type "cmd"...

once in the command prompt, type ipconfig and there you go!

The DOS window is nothing more than the result of the cmd command, so it's the same. I'm sure that your suggestion doesn't solve this problem. I'm sure there must be a value to modify in the registry, but which one then?

My problem is this: if I launch the DOS console, it opens and then closes after a few seconds, not even giving me time to type anything. Can someone help me?

Doctor C's response is clear! You launch CMD in the command line and then you can type IPCONFIG and the window will no longer close!
