Bluetooth music crackling (in the car)

Hello,

For the past year, I've had a car radio (Philips CE162) that allows me to play my music via Bluetooth from my smartphone (Note 3). Everything was working perfectly until yesterday. The sound is crackling, even at low volume. I first thought the speakers were dead, but no: it works perfectly on the radio or AUX. So, I’m looking into the phone. I occasionally find that the phone's speaker crackles the same way, but this is the first time the crackling has been transmitted via Bluetooth.

Where do you think the problem might be coming from?

Thanks in advance for your advice.

Configuration: Mac OS X (10.10.4) / Chrome 44.0.2403.125

The easiest thing would be to test by streaming the music from a tablet, a computer, or another smartphone if you have one ;)

Listen, I just tested it with my Mac and it works perfectly. So the problem must come from the phone. Wear and tear on the physical hardware can be understood, but this comes from the digital side and I don't understand.

It would be more of a bug then. Start by doing a power cycle, turn it off and turn your phone back on. That might help.

Otherwise, I don't really have any miracle advice for this one. Other than rebooting and/or resetting the phone, though the latter option is extreme.
