Hello,
After losing my old PC which was running XP, I had to buy another PC to use my XL580 embroidery machine, but I found only Windows 8.1 for sale. So my question is how to use my Stitch software on this system because when I install it, it freezes with an error message towards the end of the installation. Thanks to anyone who can help!!
Configuration: Windows / Mozilla 11.0

Hello Laetitia,
This is indeed the one:

I just checked, but for now it is not compatible with your PC, here is the response that appears when checking:

Have a nice day

Hello "la loupe", indeed it's this machine. The software has no issues with installation; it's the "stitch n sew" logibrode that I can't manage. Apparently, I have to buy the Windows 7 license to be able to use it. There you go, over 100€ for the license... and of course, the store where I bought the software didn't bother to inform me about that when I made the purchase!
Thank you for taking the time to answer my question.
Best regards!

Hello Laetitia,
I don't think the store is necessarily updated on the progress and changes made from one Windows version to another.
Often updates are made on the websites of the brands selling the devices; it's not always reliable, and they need time to adapt too, but regular checks are necessary.
Now Microsoft is moving to the Windows 10 version, so there will be more changes!
Good luck.
