No need to stress yourself, it's the problem with all PS2 versions, the lens or the lens support is dead after 2 years.

I took it apart and broke the notch of the fan, but I put it back with tape; sometimes it comes loose and it's annoying. I saw the chip, it's connected, well, for me, but I think it's of very poor quality plus the wires are held with tape and the chip is bent.

Ok, you can stick with the chips, but you need to do your research before buying or installing them on your console, that's all, because my PlayStation is chipped with a Matrix Infinity (v1.93), and it works great, you just put in the burned game, and it starts up by itself, same for all the other games.
And, regarding the little fan connection, you weren't supposed to touch it to access the chip and the motherboard, but well, it's not a big deal, a fan costs about €10, it's not the end of the world.
In principle, this notch can be removed, so after that you just have to reconnect it, unless you've completely broken the connector.

I broke the connection because the notch wouldn't come off, so I forced it and then I broke it...

And to buy another chip it's tough because 100 euros is expensive and the magic swap costs 30 euros, so I will rather buy the magic swap^^
