Hello, I've unpacked my kave 5.1 from Roccat for an hour, I've installed the driver and everything, but the problem is the connections. There are 4 jacks:
pink
black
green
orange

and USB for power

The problem is my motherboard, the MSI Z97-G45 gaming https://fr.msi.com/Motherboard/Z97-G45-GAMING.html#hero-overview

As you can see from the photos on this site, there are only red and black ports. I've tried a lot of combinations, but it doesn't work

Does anyone know how to do it?

Thanks

    Hi,

If no port makes a distinction, it’s probably because... it’s your audio driver that has to handle all of that.

Therefore, you should check if you have more information on your audio driver side :-)

    Best regards,

On the audio driver of the motherboard, things like mic input and speaker output are displayed, but there are no details for connecting them. In the back, there are also labels, but I don't know what they correspond to.

Mic (I’m sure I know what this is for)
      L-out
      L-in
      SS-out
      CS-out
      RS-out

      If I follow his manual:
These audio connectors are used for audio devices.
Line In: used to connect external audio output devices.
Line Out: used for a speaker or headphones.
      Mic: used for a microphone.
RS-Out: Rear surround speaker audio output in 4/5.1/7.1 mode.
      CS-Out: Center/subwoofer audio output in 5.1/7.1 mode.
SS-Out: Side surround speaker audio output in 7.1 mode.

      Knowing that in order:

      Top: Line-IN - RS-OUT
      Middle: Line-OUT - CS-OUT
      Bottom: Mic - SS-OUT

you will surely have the answer to your question :)

I plugged everything in normally, it should be fine. I found someone in the same situation as me and another person was replying to him, associating the colors and the in and out stuff, but the problem is I have a buzzing sound and no sound. It's properly connected according to what one might think. I tried with the HD Realtek audio manager of my motherboard, but it doesn't work, and I'm hesitant to fiddle with the sound manager.

Ok, my problem is progressing slowly but surely. I have sound now but not the microphone; it is plugged in. Do you have any idea where I can set it up as a mic on the computer? I suppose it's in the device manager, but I can't find it.

Could you provide me with a photo of your audio manager (Realtek presumably)?

If the microphone is indeed plugged into the "MIC" jack, it should normally work... Have you checked in the recording devices settings (in the small panel that appears with a right-click on the audio icon in the taskbar) that it is being detected and that the levels are moving?
